The Penn Pig is a Johnstown tradition. These were originally made by Penn Traffic and many people remember taking the trolley to pick them up at the store. After the flood in the 1970’s, O’Shea’s Candies Co. purchased their candy kitchen, recipes, and moulds. O’Shea’s Candies still continues this tradition today. Penn Pigs are a coconut cream enrobe in milk chocolate. We also make these in peanut butter meltaway, or strawberry cream with your choice of milk, dark or white chocolate.
Our customers love that each pig has its own unique traits such as a curly pig tail, chunky butt, perky ears, and four feet.
